The Mexican government rules out a Cyclospora outbreak and denies any link between the cases in the United States and producers in Guanajuato.
Mexico’s Secretary of Health, David Kershenobich, reported on the epidemiological status of cyclosporiasis in the country.
“In Mexico, there have only been three cases of Cyclospora, and these cases are common.
We do not have a Cyclospora outbreak, therefore,” the official stated during the presidential press conference this Tuesday.
Regarding the patients registered in Mexico, Kershenobich assured that they are progressing favorably.
