Cuban President Accuses Washington of Using Falsehoods to Justify Aggression and Regime Change Efforts.
On Monday, President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez rejected the report on Cuba released by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, describing it as an instrument of “transnational neo-McCarthyism.”
If any country has spied on and attacked another on an obscene scale, it has been the United States against Cuba.
Cuba has never acted to harm the American people, nor has it sought to affect the national security of the United States.
The transnational neo-McCarthyism that is being reinstated in the United States, driven by a clearly fascist current, resorts to lies to generate pretexts for sustaining aggression against Cuba and restricting civil liberties in the United States.”
