Correctional staff at Joyceville Institution have seized contraband and unauthorized items from the multi-level federal prison. The items seized included tobacco, marijuana, hashish, and cell phones and accessories with a total estimated institutional value of approximately $83,310. As a result, CSC has increased measures to prevent contraband from entering it’s prisons, including the use of ion scanners and detector dogs.
