Kingston Health Sciences Centre has updated its hours for its Urgent Care Centre at Hotel Dieu Hospital. The Urgent Care Centre will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. along with weekend hours running from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.“These updated hours are designed to provide patients with more consistent and predictable access to the UCC. As a result, patients can have greater confidence that the UCC will remain open and accepting patients throughout its posted hours.” As a result, KHSC has is adjusting how physicians are scheduled between the UCC and the emergency department at Kingston General Hospital. KHSC reminded residents that the UCC is intended for health concerns that require assessment within 24 hours but are not life-threatening.
