Sandisk has launched a new range of compact USB-C flash drives aimed at users moving files between modern laptops, smartphones and tablets. The new CZB Series is available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities, with sequential read speeds of up to 250MB/s. However, the drives are unlikely to match the performance of portable solid-state drives for more demanding tasks such as editing high-resolution video directly from external storage. Sandisk said the 256GB model could hold approximately 60,000 photos, although the actual number will depend on image resolution and file size. The launch follows Sandisk’s recent release of its officially licensed FIFA World Cup 2026 USB-C flash drives (below) in Australia.
