I don't want to break it the car runs ony thinks key is in the ignition when its in my pocket so chimes when the door is open. First step maybe remove the switch and spray the actuator with dry lube. There's an orange thing on the connector that might slide but doesn't and maybe a tab at the bottom that doesn't move. I have a new switch but I think from AI chat the switch won't fix it likely the actuator is stuck and keeps the contacts closed.
