Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta has taken a major step toward modernizing its public transportation system with the arrival of the first articulated electric buses, signaling the start of a new era in sustainable urban mobility.
The new transportation system will serve the busy Francisco Medina Ascencio Avenue corridor, connecting key destinations including the Hotel Zone, Marina Vallarta, Ixtapa, and the University Center of the Coast (CUCosta).
The initial phase of the project includes 19 electric buses supported by an infrastructure of 11 main stations and 110 designated stops along the route.
The introduction of these electric articulated buses represents one of Puerto Vallarta’s most significant public transportation investments in recent years.
