The new Traffic Safety Act would replace the original passed in 2018 that was intended to replace the Motor Vehicle Act last written in 1932. “The new act simplifies how we will administer these changes so we can deliver a modern set of laws years sooner than would otherwise be possible,” says Tilley. There will also be new language around technology and vehicles that you hire -referring to Ubers. In addition, government will be able to use photo radar, red light cameras and intersection cameras.
