Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa special committee unsatisfied with police report on Radio Pakistan Peshawar attack investigation

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s Special Committee investigating the May 10 attack on Radio Pakistan Peshawar convened for its fifth meeting on July 20, expressing dissatisfaction with the police’s investigative reporting in the case.
The session, which took place at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, was chaired by Aftab Alam, the Chairman of the Special Committee and Provincial Minister for Law.
Key figures attended, including Provincial Minister for Revenue and Estate Tariq Mahmood Aryan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Food Muhammad Israr, MPAs Tariq Saeed and Adnan Khan, and senior officials from the Police, Home and Law departments.
The Advocate General, Special Prosecutor, and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat Tariq Noor, along with other relevant officers, were also present.
The police department was instructed to provide all relevant documents and evidence before the committee’s next meeting to facilitate a detailed review and recommendations.
