Born on August 5, 1927, in Opelousas, Louisiana, Gretchen was the daughter of Dwight Thistlethwaite and Rosa Hebreaud. Gretchen was known for her generous spirit and commitment to helping those in need. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Nathan Gottfried; and her children, Charlie Wilson Jr. and Gretchen Guillory. Her family is grateful for the many years they shared with Gretchen and will forever cherish the memories of her love, wisdom, and gentle spirit.
