Fresh banners for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 have started popping up around SDCC, giving us our first look at Daniel Weyman's fully realized Gandalf the Grey. Along with his iconic staff, Gandalf is now sporting the familiar pointed hat that instantly brings the beloved character to mind. It's hard not to notice how closely Weyman's version now resembles Sir Ian McKellen's iconic unforgettable portrayal from Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Season 3 jumps ahead several years and drops viewers into the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron. As the Dark Lord moves closer to forging the One Ring that will cement his power over Middle-earth, the stakes are about to get much higher.
