CCMG Funding Roads, Infrastructure

WRBI Radio
(Statewide) – The state recently announced $84 million in Community Crossings Matching Grants (CCMG) are heading to 147 cities, counties, and towns across Indiana, including several in our area.
State Rep. Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville), who serves on the House Roads and Transportation Committee, says local governments must contribute funding to qualify for these matching grants.
Program guidelines also ensure that half of the matching grants go straight to communities in counties with populations under 50,000.
“When the state and local communities invest together, we strengthen our roads, improve critical infrastructure, and create opportunities for long-term economic growth,” Patterson said.
Patterson made her comments on the Indiana House Republicans’ “Around the House” weekly podcast.
