A renowned artist help create an iconic front page for a regional daily as Andy Burnham entered Number 10 as Prime Minister today. Mancunian illustrator Stanley Chow drew a special portrait of the country’s new leader for the Manchester Evening News to mark his first day in power. Alongside the “unique” front page, today’s MEN also carried a personal letter of thanks from Mr Burnham to the people of Manchester. Editor in chief Sarah Lester said: “It’s a privilege to have an artist of Stanley Chow’s reputation create today’s Manchester Evening News’ front page. “I said Greater Manchester had changed the world before and could do so again.
