CPR Bystander app reimplemented in Eagle County to shorten the time for emergency response

That’s why Eagle County Paramedics are relying on citizen bystanders for their assistance by using the app PulsePoint Respond, a program that was reimplemented this past May.
Through the app, subscribers are notified in real time when a public cardiac arrest occurs in their vicinity.
This time around, Eagle County Paramedic Services are providing funding to keep the app running.
Although Eagle County is just over that mark, Christensen said it will get rounded down.
Brandon Daruna, the CEO of ECPS, said these apps are a part of a bigger initiative to improve cardiac arrest incident numbers.
