SRINAGAR: Burglars targeted a newly opened copper utensils shop near the Clock Tower in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district during the intervening night, escaping with valuables and causing financial losses to the owner. The shop, owned by young entrepreneur Nayeem Farooq, had recently been established as a small business venture. The exact value of the stolen property was not immediately known. The incident has come as a setback for the young entrepreneur, whose venture had only recently commenced operations. They expressed hope that the police would identify the culprits at the earliest, recover the stolen property and take appropriate legal action.
