She called time on her spell in Milton Keynes and opted to move slightly further north up the M1 to Rugby Borough, who were competing in the FAWNL Northern Premier in 2024. It brought a new opportunity, and a new style of football to enjoy, but Rush’s spell on the pitch was a short-lived one, as she sadly suffered an MCL injury during their historic Adobe Women’s FA Cup fixture against WSL Liverpool. Her international appearances coincided with her exit from Rugby, but she soon found a new home at Real Bedford. Rush’s only campaign saw Real Bedford finish sixth in the Southern branch of tier three, having made 24 appearances, scoring just once. In joining the Baggies, Rhianne will hope to continue flourishing on the international stage, while maintaining her new club’s steady ascent up the FAWNL Northern Premier table.
