Lulabelle Sponaugle Hardy, 87, a resident of Hambleton, West Virginia, departed this life Sunday evening, July 19, 2026, at her home with her family by her side and under the care of Mt. She was born Wednesday, October 12, 1938, at Parsons, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Bryan Sponaugle and Delva Carr Sponaugle. On Nov. 13, 1954, at Parsons, West Virginia, she was married to Edward Junior âBudã Hardy, who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 2010. Preceding her in death are seven brothers, Eugene, Harold, Lewis, Cleon and Butch Sponaugle, Allen “Hambone” and Burl Mason; three sisters, Wilda and Lucy Sponaugle and Martha Whetzel; and her stepmother, Armitte Sponaugle; two grandchildren, Joshua Poling and Holly Poling.
