Antisocial Road Use Legislation Amendment BillTuesday, 30 June 2026Committee of the whole HouseDebate resumed from 25 March 2026.
The House is in committee for further consideration of the Antisocial Road Use Legislation Amendment Bill.
It gives the police greater powers to close off areas where antisocial road events are happening or might happen.
The Minister is also introducing a Government Amendment Paper that makes a minor and technical amendment to ensure that the policy intent of the bill is delivered.
The Minister made the point that this bill establishes the offence—and certainly, we do support the bill.
