Final Report Received On Phillips Children InquiryHon Chris BishopAttorney-General21 July 2026The final report of the Public Inquiry into the disappearance of the Phillips children was presented to the Governor-General’s office today and delivered to Attorney-General Hon Chris Bishop as required by the Inquiry’s terms of reference. On 27 November 2025, the then-Attorney-General, Hon Judith Collins, announced that a Public Inquiry would be held into the disappearance of the Phillips children. The Attorney-General will present the final report to the House of Representatives as soon as practicable. We also need to ensure the welfare of the children is appropriately safeguarded. “I extend my thanks to the Chair, the Honourable Justice Simon Moore KC, and his team for their report.”
