Major factory plans JetZero expects the Greensboro campus to create more than 14,500 direct manufacturing jobs in North Carolina. The company also estimates the project will support roughly 53,000 additional jobs across suppliers, logistics providers and other industries throughout the United States. The proposed financing would help cover construction of manufacturing facilities, factory systems, production equipment and other eligible project costs. JetZero believes the investment will strengthen domestic aircraft manufacturing while expanding the country’s ability to export U.S.-built aerospace products. JetZero says the digital-first process will help create one of the most advanced and adaptable aircraft manufacturing plants in the United States while reducing development risks as production scales.
