Morung Express NewsZunheboto | July 20Office-bearers of the Naga People's Front (NPF) from the 35 A/C Zunheboto constituency on Monday visited landslide-affected areas in Zunheboto town and provided ex gratia assistance to affected families. The delegation visited Khuwuboto Colony, North Point Colony, Alahuto Colony, Amiphoto Colony and several other localities that have been severely affected by recent landslides. According to the party, the landslides have caused extensive damage to houses, stranded several families and disrupted road connectivity to a number of colonies. During the visit, the NPF leaders assessed the extent of the damage and extended financial assistance to affected households. The NPF office-bearers urged the concerned authorities to provide relief and assistance to the affected families at the earliest and expressed solidarity with those displaced by the disaster, assuring them of the party's support during the difficult period.
