Each of the eight Northeastern states has a Regional Rural Bank. Bank officials said MRB posted a Net Profit of Rs 152.27 crore, the second highest among North East RRBs. It also became one of the first four RRBs in India to achieve Business per Branch (BpB) exceeding Rs 100 crore, recording Rs 100.53 crore. Business per Employee stood at Rs 21.70 crore, ranking second among all RRBs in India and first in the Northeast. Mizoram Governor General Vijay Kumar Singh (Retd) on Monday released the 43rd Annual Report Book of Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) for the Financial Year 2025-26 at Lok Bhavan.
