Residents inspect a landslide-hit stretch after heavy rainfall triggered mudslides and uprooted trees, blocking a road in the Bhandari area of Wokha district on Sunday. At Lio-Longchum village, a section of the Bhandari 'O' Point-Yimpang Road developed significant subsidence and was also hit by a landslide following incessant rainfall. The road, which serves as the only access route connecting Bhandari village with Lio-Longchum, Alikhum and Yimpang, has become difficult and hazardous for commuters. Another incident of road damage was reported at Woko Tsophen in Bhandari village, where the road has developed large cracks and is sinking due to continuous rainfall, making travel unsafe.
