X-Bow Unveils Sub-$100K Buckler Supersonic Drone Interceptor

Terms of Service and Privacy PolicyX-Bow Systems, a company that made its name making solid rocket motors and small space-launch vehicles, has unveiled a new low-cost drone interceptor, named Buckler.
The Buckler — named after a small shield of the Medieval and Renaissance eras — is designed to defeat Group 3 drones.
Russian state mediaWhile optimized for bringing down drones, the Buckler can also engage other aerial threats, including subsonic cruise missiles, under certain conditions.
“This is our answer to the call from the U.S. and its allies: affordable capability at scale,” X-Bow Systems’ CEO Jason Hundley told Axios.
