Worldwide end-user spending on AI models and platforms is projected to total US$64 billion in 2026, up 63.4 per cent from US$39 billion in 2025, with more and more enterprises are choosing to work with companies that can provide clear value. Spending on generative AI (genAI) models is forecast to grow 117 per cent while AI platform spending will rise 36.9 per cent in 2026, according to Gartner’s latest forecast on AI platforms and models. “Enterprise AI budgets are coming under greater scrutiny, with increased focus on usage efficiency, cost control and measurable outcomes,” said the analyst firm’s senior principal research analyst, Arunasree Cheparthi.
