The Seward County Commission met on Monday evening and in new business, the Commissioners granted Stepping Stone Shelter $22,691.31 in additional funding to utilize the opioid settlement funds as outlined in the MFAF guidelines. The Commission also approved signing the KDOT Project Programming Request for the Massoni Bridge. Commissioners adopted Resolution 2026-14, a resolution establishing rules for alcohol consumption on County property. The County Commissioners approved the minutes dated July 10, 2026, of the Seward County Waste Management Committee and for Landfill Director, Tyler Antrim, to submit them to KDHE. After an Executive Session, the Commission approved moving Brock Theiners wages from the Landfill to the General Fund.
