Kelowna is partnering with London, Ontario, in a cultural exchange connecting Canada's UNESCO designations in gastronomy and music. Kelowna was recently named Canada's first UNESCO Creative City in Gastronomy, while London holds the country's only UNESCO Creative City in Music designation. “One of the most exciting aspects of joining UNESCO's Creative Cities Network is the opportunity to connect with communities across Canada and around the world," said Jenn Goodwin, chair of the coordination team supporting the Kelowna City of Gastronomy designation. We hope this is the beginning of a long-term relationship between our two cities and a model for future collaborations across Canada's Creative Cities,” said Cory Crossman, director of the London Music Office.
