For the second time this offseason, the Clippers and Cam Christie have agreed to push back the former second-round pick’s salary guarantee date, according to Law Murray of The Athletic (Twitter link). Christie’s $2.3MM salary for 2026/27 was originally set to be guaranteed if had remained on the roster through June 30. Now he hears the new early salary guarantee date is October 15. The Clippers hold a $2.5MM option on the 6’5″ shooting guard for that season, with a salary guarantee date of June 30, 2027. Christie, who turns 21 years old on Friday, is the younger brother of Mavericks wing Max Christie.
