Aussies received a strong boost to their retirement savings last financial year, with superannuation funds posting their fourth straight year of returns above 9 per cent. Industry fund UniSuper delivered the best return out of growth funds, according to fresh research by Chant West, at 12.3 per cent. NGS Super and Colonial First State tied for second place, both reporting an 11.5 per cent return, followed by Hostplus, which posted a return of 10.8 per cent.
