SIU clears police in Kemptville injury

The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has cleared the OPP officers involved in an April incident in Kemptville, in which a suspect fractured his right wrist while fleeing.

In the Kemptville matter, the SIU ended the investigation after concluding there was no evidence to suggest criminal charges were in order.
