Kieran McGeeney will remain as Armagh manager for the 2027 season after he was ratified at a county committee meeting on Monday night. McGeeney will remain the longest serving inter-county manager as he approaches his 13th season at the helm of his native county. He joined Paul Grimley's management team for the 2014 season before being installed as manager for the following year. The Mullaghbawn native guided Armagh to the 2024 All-Ireland title, completing a personal double having won Sam Maguire as captain in 2002. Armagh defeated Monaghan 2-28 to 0-25 to bring to an end a series of near misses in the Ulster SFC.
