Broome/Tioga Community Groups Can Apply for Tobacco Free Grants

The Tobacco Free Broome and Tioga Program is offering a total of $35,000 in grant money through the New York State Department of Health.
The money will support local projects that help reduce the health problems caused by commercial tobacco products.
These groups will work with the Tobacco Free Broome and Tioga Program to help improve health in their communities.
Projects Can Focus on Several Health GoalsOrganizations can apply for funding to support projects that encourage smoke free apartment buildings, reduce tobacco waste in the environment, improve the places where tobacco products are sold, or create more tobacco free outdoor spaces.
The grants are designed to help local groups lead projects that create healthier communities across Broome and Tioga counties.
