King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, received Monday in the Royal Palace of Tetouan Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib Abdellatif Jouahri, who presented to him the Bank’s annual report on the economic, monetary, and financial situation for the year 2025. In an address during the audience, Jouahri stated that, in an international environment marked by successive shocks and persistent uncertainties, domestic economy continued to improve in 2025, growing by 4.9%, driven notably by strong investment efforts. Overall, these developments suggest that the momentum of the domestic economy is continuing, fostering hopes, according to Jouahri, for economic and social emergence in the years ahead. Jouahri emphasized that this reality requires, despite the substantial resources devoted to social support, more accurate targeting of the most vulnerable segments of the population. Abdellatif Jouahri then presented to King Mohammed VI the Central Bank’s annual report on the economic, monetary and financial situation for fiscal year 2025, as well as a commemorative solid gold coin issued by Bank Al Maghrib to celebrate the 1st anniversary of “Unity Day”.
