Global Ports Holding (GPH) has appointed Emilio Vázquez Villanueva as general manager of Acapulco Cruise Port, Mexico. “We are delighted to welcome Emilio to Global Ports Holding,” said Mike Maura, Jr. regional director, Americas, Global Ports Holding. “His extensive experience in port operations, tourism and stakeholder engagement, together with his deep understanding of Acapulco, make him exceptionally well positioned to lead our newest port. Vázquez Villanueva brings experience across the private and public sectors, with a background in international trade, economic development, logistics, tourism and port management. GPH noted that the appointment marks an important milestone following the recent acquisition of the 24-year concession to operate and develop Acapulco Cruise Port.
