L.L.Bean plans to open its first store in Georgia at Lulah Hills, a new mixed-use property under development in Decatur. Other retail brands with plans to open in the complex include Publix, Anthropologie, Design Within Reach, and Herman Miller. No date was announced for when the L.L.Bean store would open. Edens said that “Phase I” of the project is set to finish in 2027, with a first wave of retail opening at that time. In December 2025, L.L.Bean announced plans to open eight stores in 2026, including its first locations in Alabama and Tennessee.
