Admission is free to the three-day showcase of Cree music, art and food at the McIntyre Community BuildingCreefest 2026 will welcome visitors from July 21–23 for three days of cultural celebration at the McIntyre Community Building.
The event showcases the rich traditions, music, art, food and culture and spirit of Cree people.
Hosted by Mushkegowuk Council, Creefest has become one of the premier Indigenous cultural festivals in Canada, bringing together Cree communities, Indigenous organizations, artists, performers, businesses, and visitors from across the country to celebrate Cree identity while building stronger relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
Creefest is an annual celebration of Cree culture hosted by Mushkegowuk Council that promotes language revitalization, cultural preservation, community wellness, tourism, economic development, and Indigenous excellence.
Through music, food and culture Creefest creates opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn, connect, and celebrate the enduring strength and resilience of Cree communities.
