The Tukwila City Council has passed an ordinance that would make camping on city property a misdemeanor.
He estimated Tukwila currently has between five and 10 encampments based on recent patrols along the Interurban Trail and city parks.
City says services would come before enforcementThe ordinance states officers will prioritize voluntary compliance and connecting people with available resources.
