She has called herself the public school candidate and has a plan to fully fund public schools by bringing in more tax revenue.
She wants that money put back into public schools, which she believes will create better outcomes.
We cannot keep diverting billions of dollars in every single budget out of our public schools and into private, unaccountable voucher schools that can discriminate,” Roys said.
“My plan will open up that state plan so anyone can buy in, and not just individuals, but employers as well,” Roys said.
As for data centers, Roys wants to create statewide standards to protect the environment and workers.
