On Sunday, Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodriguez led a tribute to those who took part in the rescue operations for the victims of the earthquakes that struck La Guaira on June 24.

After recognizing the courage they demonstrated in the field, the Venezuelan acting president called for transforming that strength into a driving force to move the country forward.
Humanitarian Assistance Continues and IntensifiesOn Sunday, the Venezuelan government presented a new official update on the emergency operations following the impact of the June earthquakes.
Assistance for the victims continues through the deployment of 62,000 personnel, including 31,745 national volunteers and 2,278 international rescuers.
