Disney+ has officially ordered a live-action adaptation of Afterlife with Archie, the horror comic created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Francesco Francavilla. Unlike Marvel's upcoming Marvel Zombies, which is animated, Afterlife with Archie will bring its nightmare-fueled story to life in live-action. The original Afterlife with Archie comic only ran for ten issues across three years before coming to an abrupt halt, leaving several storylines unfinished and fans without a real conclusion. Out of all the places where Afterlife with Archie could've resurfaced, Disney+ might be the biggest surprise. If the creative team truly embraces the comic's gruesome horror, this could end up being an awesome series!
