The family of Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller, the Fort Myers Police Department and Lee Health are hosting the eighth annual blood drive in honor of Jobbers-Miller’s memory. In July 2018, Officer Jobbers-Miller was shot in the line of duty. All donors will receive an Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller t-shirt and a commemorative pin in tribute to his courageous service to Fort Myers. The blood drive is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. On Thursday, July 23, the blood drive switches location to the Fort Myers Police Department at 2210 Widman Way in Fort Myers with the same hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
