Jessica Plazewski, of Cape Coral, found a junonia on July 9 in the water near the Andy Rosse Lane beach access on Captiva. She reported that her family comes to the beach every year in the beginning of July to honor her late father and to celebrate her nephew’s birthday. “First time ever finding this shell and I’ve lived and beached here my whole life — super stoked!” Plazewski said.
