SRINAGAR: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Sunday conducted the written examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant at multiple centres across the Union Territory through an outsourced agency. However, the recruitment process witnessed a disruption at one examination centre in Jammu after examination material fell short, preventing 67 candidates from taking the test. The matter was immediately brought to the notice of the High Court by the Registrar (Recruitment). Taking cognisance of the lapse, the Court ordered that a fresh examination be conducted exclusively for the affected candidates. Reaffirming its commitment to a fair and transparent recruitment process, the High Court assured that the affected candidates would not suffer any prejudice because of the incident.
