The local African-Caribbean community showcased its culture Sunday as part of the ongoing Taste of Chatham-Kent (TOCK) celebration of diversity.

jpg, CD, apsmcOluku said TOCK has provided a large platform through its website, which also highlights many other cultures, to promote African-Caribbean culture.
Noting TOCK also helped connect the local African-Caribbean community, Oluku, who operates a company to help small businesses navigate the process of becoming registered, said she even learned about some businesses through TOCK.
She said as the African-Caribbean community becomes more connected, it could present the opportunity to do stand-alone cultural events in the future.
