The Golden State Warriors have to be extremely happy with their first-round draft pick, Yaxel Lendeborg, after he led the team to the NBA Summer League championship and won the MVP. Lendeborg capped off his impressive Summer League performances with a 21-point outing on Sunday to help the Warriors rally back, defeating Cam Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies, 94-90. I'm gonna be the most energetic guy on the floor every night," the former Michigan Wolverines star said after winning the MVP. His Summer League included 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, four assists, and 1.5 blocks per game, with a 45.9% field-goal percentage. After the Summer League performance, Lendeborg has a chance to start or earn big minutes as a key part of the Warriors' rotation.
