Tessa Munt MP: Labour ‘not being very Labour’
['Olivia Barber']
Left Foot Forward: Leading the UK's progressive debate
Munt argued “If you’re doing something stupid just carry on doing something stupid, because eventually the fuss will calm down.
Munt used to be a Labour Party member between 1989, and left when Tony Blair became prime minister in 1997.
She also raised the issue of carers and said she is surprised Labour hasn’t done more for them.
The Lib Dems have ‘Stand Up for Carers’ campaign, which calls for Carer’s Allowance for unpaid carers to be increased by £1,000 a year.
