Blockchain Stalls Until Its Appointed TimeDespite years of investment and technological advancement, enterprise blockchain projects continue to struggle to move beyond demonstrations and limited pilot programs. From a prophetic perspective, blockchain technology is important because it could provide part of the infrastructure needed for the economic control described in Revelation 13:16-18. Blockchain, digital identity systems, artificial intelligence, biometric authentication, and programmable payments demonstrate that the technological building blocks for such control already exist.
