If you’ve been keeping up with The Blood of Dawnwalker, then you’ve doubtless heard about the premise. Coen, the titular Dawnwalker, is battling against ancient vampires led by Brencis to save his family within a 30-day time limit. And while we’ve seen enough to conclude that Brencis is evil, narrative director Jakub Szamalek told IGN that there’s a method to the badness. Instead, he wants to establish a “vampiric feudalism” where denizens essentially “swear allegiance to your vampire Lord” through “taxes and blood.” Launching on September 3rd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, The Blood of Dawnwalker promises a roughly 50-hour-long adventure.
