The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a rare correction after acknowledging that a laboratory test linking Taylor Farms lettuce to Cyclospora contamination was wrong.
FDA Says No Confirmed Positive Lettuce Samples ExistIn a statement released Sunday, the FDA said it had reexamined the laboratory results from a sample collected from Taylor Farms de Mexico.
The agency also removed Saturday's notice reporting the positive test from its public outbreak updates.
