The 2030 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to run from June 8 through July 21 and will feature 48 national teams.
“It was a FIFA World Cup of records for us,” Diehl said.
Arnim Butzen, Head of TV at Deutsche Telekom, said securing both Euro 2028 and the 2030 World Cup gives Magenta TV rights to Germany’s next two major international soccer tournaments.
“With UEFA Euro 2028 and now the FIFA World Cup 2030, the next two major international football tournaments will be available on Magenta TV,” Butzen said.
In the United States, a number of broadcasters are expected to make offers to televise the 2030 FIFA World Cup tournament.
